MaxSports: Exercise is to the body as knowledge is to the mind. Physical education contributes not only to physical fitness but also to physical efficiency, mental alertness and development of qualities such as perseverance, team spirit, leadership, obedience to rule and sportsman spirit. Physical activities give opportunity for self-expression and self-improvement and are useful in developing character and personality. This is why great emphasis is laid on Maxfortiansto take up sports. Maxfort Schools have a team of professionals to support development in most games. They assist and identify abilities of young children and nurture their skills. Children are encouraged to participate in events for their own development rather to defeat others.
Tennis and Basketball Courts: Synthetic courts conforming to international standards of 9 layers are available to Maxfortiansto play the sport. Specialist coaches have been appointed to help children of all ages to excel in these sports. Equipment to play the game is also provided by the school and special training from Tennis professionals is offered after school hours.
Cricket Pitches: Green Turf and Cemented pitches along with specialist coaches are available to train Maxfortiansin cricket - the country’s favourite sport. The latest equipment and full cricketing gear are provided by the school. Different time slots have been created for students of different age groups to develop their interest in the sport.
Swimming Pool: Swimming for all Maxfortiansis encouraged during the summer months. Separate pools for the students of Nursery, KG, and the rest of the classes are available for children. Half Olympic Size pool (25 m) has been created especially for the students of senior classes. Special Coaches and Life Guard form the swimming team.
Skating Area: Separate skating area has been provided in the school premises to promote roller skating. A coach for the same is also available to Maxfortians. School provides skates to children initially while learning the sport.
Taekwondo: The school offers Taekwondo classes for Maxfortiansto learn and master this ancient art of self-defence. It helps children to improve mental agility and physical strength.
Snooker & Pool: To keep abreast of the changing times and rapidly altering tastes in sports, Maxfort plans to provide an opportunity to make Snooker and Pool available to Maxfortians.
Excursions and Trips: School excursions are an engaging way to develop students’ mind. This is why Maxfort School organizes regular trips to places of interest such as the Science and Railway Museums, NASA, Radio Stations, Historical Places, and even outstation excursions. Apart from imparting knowledge, these trips help Maxfortians to develop self-confidence, organizational and interpersonal skills, and social etiquettes.
MaxMatics: Maxmatics is a scientifically researched way to teach the fundamental concepts of Mathematics to Maxfortians in a highly engaging way. It takes help from physical objects, stories and real-life contexts rather than just paper and pen-based algorithms to provide in-depth understanding in the subject. This makes the lessons interesting and meaningful, thereby increasing the depth of comprehension and life-long grasp of this subject.
Vasundhara: One of the critical components of MaxPower Curriculum, Vasundhara helps Maxfortians to test their scientific theories and curiosity with practical experiments. These experiments and projects are then showcased at the school’s annual Exposition. Vasundhara is a prodigious way to build scientific temper among students. It not only creates in-depth understanding of the subject but also develops leadership skills, self-confidence and self-expression.
MaxArt: Art has been scientifically proven to farther a child’s development in more ways than one! Art encompasses all kinds of visual and audio forms such as painting, theatre, movie, music, dance among others. Art can play a role far beyond mere indulgence. It can be a compelling and engaging way to teach languages; build physical agility; develop teamwork, self-expression and self-confidence among Maxfortians.
Theaterama: A critical component of MaxPower Curriculum, Theaterama provides Maxfortians with an ideal platform to realize and showcase their inherent creative potential. Through an intricate interplay of language, characters, voice, movement and improvisations, Theaterama helps children to develop physically, learn teamwork and evolve as confident and self-assured individuals.
MaxMelody: Scientific research is increasingly establishing a profound link between music education and brain development. Getting attuned to the many languages of music - beats, rhythm, pitch numbers, note letter names, and dynamics – allows children’s minds to easily pick up complex languages; grasp the fundamentals of Mathematics; besides making Maxfortians more confident and self-assured through stage performances.
Dance: At Maxfort, dance isn’t just an art form. It is also a medium through which Maxfortians learn and express themselves. As an integral part of the MaxPower Curriculum, dance allows children to enhance knowledge by learning different styles. They also develop courage and self confidence by performing during the School Assemblies and on stage. In young children, dance helps in developing muscle strength, motor coordination and even mental alertness.
